if you guys get someone to photoshop a design for our mats, i say we get them printed. i bought one from that seller and it came in like 3 days after i paid for it. it looks pretty good and i'll show it to you guys when i see you. the seller put up another auction just recently if you wanna check it out.

so everyone basically has a set schedule for this new semester, what are your days off and free times ? it'd be cool if we can set something up so that we can sit down, chill and deck test. first regional of the season is a little less than two weeks away and i'm excited to have something strong when we step on Da Scene...

Updates...the new ban list will be out by next monday, the new jump card is released...so crush card MIGHT get the shrink treatment.
THIS SUNDAY (8/19) Mike Sun/Jesse/Manny i.e Venture hopefulls want to go buy a box of the new set. Team Venture should not take this laying down, We should find out if Pete is even open on Sunday, also if we make a day of it we can watch SuperBad ...(my idea) and probably finish the day off with play testing.

- September can be a new beginning for this game here in america, lets keep our wallets full and our trade binders blingy. Trade all we can for the next season. Cards for cash a must, as cards are more expensive from this set since even commons are less common (90 card set)

Six samurai deck idea

Run a "pay up to 100 life point card" and "reversal quiz" for six samurai / second win condition. Imagine playing reversal quiz chain urself to 100 life points ...succeed and get 8000 early game.

Team help me find a place to judge

Judges get free cards all the time...and i want some of that action... Try to find out where/when i can judge in any UDE/ yugi event so i can get cards for us. My desire is to judge a sneak peek that way we get more cards of the new set, while i can inside job our games. I know im hyping the new set up alot, but i am saving up for a box for the team to partake, Everyone take a look at the spoiler (spoilers on comments) and tell me any singles they want from there... if theres not enough variety ill just buy them singled. And Chris, sell ur card troopers sooner if not later cause their gonna go from 70 to 25 in the next few weeks.(rumor)

In here they praise a player for coming up with the Gravekeeper's servant+ Marco/Dimen fissure combo, Cause the Actual ruling is that since the opponent cannot send the card to the graveyard, he/she cannot declare an attack.
(im mad cause i asked my friend way back asking if this worked and he read an old (version of the text of GS saying its not a cost its an effect to attacking) But this gives us a combo for the remove from play deck we keep trying to build

  Unless your opponent sends 1 card from the top of his/her Deck to the Graveyard, he/she cannot declare an attack.
• Macro CosmosContinuous Trap

THERE WERE 3 Demise OTK's at this thing....This is seriously gonna be a problem if we dont perfect our sides/decks accordingly. Look over the decks and talk to me if you dont get how a particualar deck works. Good news for Ed and myself...the chain deck is 90% complete... the sleeves stink and we need Dimensional Walls (2 of them minimum) Also Wes Tran's recruiter deck gives my zombie build a speck of hope.

kind of urgent

okay so, i'd like to have everyone set a day to organzie the cards again. i propose that we do it away from campus and non-team members. we need to set things straight and get the cards we own back or have the others compensate us. we're too relaxed about OUR cards and we get the short end of the stick because we don't have the resources we need when we want to try new builds. we should divy everything up and then put them into the big boxes or trade binders. this is as good a time as any to get some good wins in at regionals and jumps and get our team recognized because we're all good at the game, so lets prove it. and if anyone has some $ to put in to buy some blank mats, it'd be good also. melvin's pretty busy so we should at least be ready on our end when he's ready for us. that being said, i need 2 reloads, 3 clayman, and 2 dasher .. =p

Burn deck demolished

Im putting the burn deck away as its being pecked at like a dead corpse norishing better decks, I have given most of the cards to chris but if there's cards needed like secret barrels/ojamas/just desserts etc Tell me before monday, cause im putting them in the box. Plus I am willing to create the Demise OTK for us to practice against.

so yeah, after getting wreck'd by a six samurai deck today i think we need to bulk up our knowledge of the cards. that means working on mike's deck and reinforcing it to be tourney worthy. from there though, like all decks we'll find its weakness[es].
also, i discuss'd it with chris and a little with john, but we need to take a card inventory. not everything, but definitely the more playable cards. from there we can see what resources we're lacking and work toward replenishing them. i think everyone has a good idea what deck[s] we're all going to play in this new format.
i check'd out that link and it seems kinda expensive, so i'm just gonna go ahead and have people draw on a blank mat. *muhuhahahaha*
